This yoga program is for those who don’t have much experience about yoga and are keen to learn yoga in short duration. This program is not very exhaustive but will give lots of valuable inputs for further training in yoga. The style of yoga taught in this program is SATYANANDA YOGA. This same program is also available in (Chennai) South India. In Chennai it will be beach location. |

| Day 01: Arrive Delhi |
Arrive Delhi and meet the MERU TOURS representative at the arrival hall and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Haridwar by train
Haridwar – Rishikesh by road
|
Transfer to Railway station to broad train to Haridwar (approx 3 hrs) journey. On arrival at Rishikesh transfer to hotel. After welcome drink there will be briefing about the program in Rishikesh. You will be introduced to your Yoga teacher. Evening dinner at hotel. There will be informal meeting with your Yoga instructor where you can know each other and other likeminded people of the group.

Day free for personal activities, evening visit Holy River "Ganges" to see the "Ganga Arati" prayers being offered to the river. Dinner along with campfire.

| Day 11: Rishikesh - Delhi |
Practice of Asana and Meditation. Breakfast, tea, Buffet Lunch, informal discussion with the Instructor about the Yoga practices learned during the program .Rest of the day free, pack your bags for return to Delhi. In time transfer to Haridwar Railway station to board Delhi bound train.

| Day 12: In Delhi & Transfer to International airport. |
Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of New & Old Delhi. Visit the 12th Century Qutab Minar; gracefully fluted and hand carved for its entire height of 234 feet. Near it stands the Iron Pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and hasn’t rusted in 1500 years. Also, visit the graceful mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the modern Birla Temple. Drive past the President's House, the Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings. The Red Fort, which was built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the Jama Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques in India are other places of interest. The Raj Ghat and Shanti Van are the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru respectively and make for a peaceful retreat.
Evening MERU TOURS representative will meet you at your hotel and will transfer to the International airport for onward flight to your home country or next destination. |
